  • Dr. Jay Graham

    Co-founder & CEO

    Certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Jay A. Graham earned his medical degree from GeorgetownUniversity School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He then completed a general surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital and research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. After finishing his abdominal transplant fellowship at Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Hospital, he joined Montefiore Medical Center where he finds a passion for teaching and is Associate Professor at the AlbertEinstein College of Medicine. 

    Dr. Graham specializes in liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation and has a passion for improving patient’s lives through treating end-organ failure. Currently, he is the Surgical Director of the Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation Program. He also facilitates a rapidly growing referral basis for pre-transplant patients seeking peritoneal dialysis catheter placement. 

    A leader in the field of mHealth initiatives in transplant patients, Dr. Graham is the founder of Transplant Hero®, a gamified medication mobile app geared toward medication adherence. He brings extensive knowledge of healthcare platform integration into hospital system ecosystems. Most recently as CEO, he helped steer the acquisition of Transplant Hero® by CareDx® Inc. to create a larger opportunity for a patient-centered approach to medication management. 

    When not in New York City, he resides upstate, where he tends to his vegetable garden and apple trees.

    Porter Braswell is the founder of 2045 Studio.

    Porter has received numerous awards for his thought leadership in the diversity space, including Fast Company's "100 Most Creative People In Business," Inc. Magazine's "30 Under 30," Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year New York Winner and National Finalist,” Vanity Fair's "Future Innovators Index," Adweek's "Young Influentials," and LinkedIn’s “Top Voices.”

    Porter is the co-founder and Executive Chairman of Jopwell, an HR tech platform that helps diverse students and professionals unlock opportunities for career advancement. Under Porter’s leadership, Jopwell has formed partnerships with more than 400 of America’s leading companies and has facilitated tens of thousands of connections between the Jopwell community members and clients. In 2021, Jopwell was named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum.

    The company has received many awards, including Entrepreneur Magazine's "100 Most Brilliant Ideas," Fast Company's "World's Most Innovative Companies," and Business Insider's "One of The Hottest NYC Companies to Watch."

    Additionally, Porter is the author of Let Them See You, published by Penguin Random House in 2019, and the host of the podcast Race at Work. Porter is also a Trustee of the Lawrenceville School and also serves on the boards of DREAM charter school and CFES Brillant Pathways. He started his career at Goldman Sachs on the foreign exchange desk after graduating from Yale in 2011, where he was a four-year member of the men's varsity basketball team.

  • Carla Zerriny

    Head of Operations

    Carla Zerriny is leading operations and logistics at Graham Braswell Biotechnologies.

    Previously, Carla was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, where she covered a variety of the firm’s clients implement risk solutions for their portfolios. During her time at Goldman Sachs, Carla worked in the New York, Dubai, and London offices.
